Challenges
The primary challenge was to develop a comprehensive system that enables facilities to efficiently manage patient care and medication administration. The platform needed to seamlessly integrate patient records, manage medication workflows, and coordinate pharmacies. It required real-time updates for medication administration to ensure timely and safe administration by nurses and staff. Additionally, the system needed to sync with third party pharmacy software for effective management of patient information and regulatory compliance. It also had to support efficient coordination between HCPs and patients, streamline appointment scheduling, and handle detailed reporting. This system features a customizable Medsheet, which provides nurses and staff with detailed and up-to- date medication information, including dosage instructions and administration times. The Medsheet can be tailored to each facility's needs, ensuring accurate and timely medication administration while minimizing errors and enhancing patient safety.
Streamlined Patient Data Management with IPS Synchronization
We developed a comprehensive patient management platform that consolidates patient records, appointment schedules, allergies etc. This provides healthcare professionals with comprehensive and up-to-date patient information. The platform integrates seamlessly with third party pharmacy software IPS, ensuring real-time synchronization of data across systems. By integrating IPS with patient management, we enhance data accuracy and accessibility, streamline administrative processes, and improve overall care coordination.
Efficient Inventory Management with Barcode Scanning
To optimize inventory control, we implemented an advanced system featuring barcode scanning technology. This system ensures that all products are accurately tracked and verified upon receipt, and it also monitors stock levels across each facility. The implementation of our healthcare platform significantly reduced pharmacy calls for medication information and minimized Medication Occurrence Reports (MORs). Nurses and staff now have easy access to med lists and HCP orders, which can be effortlessly printed for doctor visits, saving time and resources. In a recent study, the platform saved one group home facility an average of 2 hours per patient per week, totaling 520 hours and $15,000 in nursing time annually. These improvements have optimized patient care, creating a safer and more efficient healthcare environment across all facilities.
